The exemplary composition of matter of AccuRx’s platform technology is called Pharmacogel, a three-dimensional gelly-like network, which is much more tissue-equivalent than any other class of biomaterials.  Because of their soft consistency, biocompatibility and high water content, hydrogels have found many medical applications—contact lenses, membrane and tissue prosthetics (skin, heart lining, etc), biosensors and drug delivery.  To fit the various applications, we use a platform technology with four tuning knobs.  Our Pharmacogel technology is a “niche-buster”, and can be used in many body sites (see picture).
